Design Week Limerick 2011
Design Week Limerick 2011 is part of Design Week 2011 in conjunction with Crown Paints- happening all over Ireland from the Tuesday 1st November to Sunday 6 November 2011. See the official web-site at http://www.designweek.ie/
Here in Limerick we've put together a listing of the many and varied events happening around the city at this time (see our Events 2011 page for details and our Gallery 2011 page for images) from exhibitions such as the transFORM by Ceramics Ireland , the extraordinary ex-Electric Picnic Cruth Curach Pavilion, a knit display and a steampunk show in the Hunt, film screenings in the Belltable ( double-bill 'Town Out Of Time' and' Build Something Modern'), talks by fashion designer Liz Quin, architects Tom de Paor, Andy Devane, Merritt Bucholz and boat-builder Jim Horgan, a Pecha Kucha night, a Connected Limerick evening ... something for everyone to visit and take part in during Design Week.
